At night, the Russian army launched a massive strike on railway infrastructure in Dnipro and the Kharkiv region. The attack caused serious destruction, fires, and damage to civilian facilities, according to Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In particular, in Dnipro, Russia targeted a suburban depot that serves passenger electric trains in the region with dozens of kamikaze drones. This is the second massive strike on the facility since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

"The main repair shop has been significantly destroyed. The station in Dnipro has been damaged. Debris removal and operational restoration have already begun," Kuleba writes.

Despite the destruction, morning electric trains from Dnipro departed on schedule.
