On August 3, Russia attacked Ukraine's Mykolaiv region with strike drones. The attack caused damage at a port, according to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration acting head Heorhii Reshetilov.

Russia targeted vessels in the Mykolaiv region

Reshetilov said the attacks took place during the day.

"Today, the enemy twice attacked the port infrastructure of the Mykolaiv district with Shahed-type drones," he said.

Two civilian vessels are known to have been damaged as a result of the Russian attacks.

"According to preliminary information, there were no casualties," Reshetilov added.

Strikes on Mykolaiv

Earlier, on July 28, Russia attacked the Mykolaiv region with Shahed drones, Banderol drones, and guided aerial bombs. The attacks caused damage and left four people injured.

During the night of July 27, Russia attacked civilian merchant vessels in the ports of the Mykolaiv region. There were fatalities and injuries.

In addition, on the morning of July 20, Russian forces launched strike drones at Mykolaiv and the surrounding region. Two people were injured.
