Russian drone attack damages two gas stations in Ukraine's Mykolaiv

On the morning of July 20, Russia launched attack drones at the city of Mykolaiv and the surrounding region. Local authorities reported the consequences of the latest strikes, according to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
"This morning, the enemy attacked the region with Shahed/Gerbera strike drones. As a result of the attack, two gas station buildings and the windows of an apartment building were damaged in the city of Mykolaiv," the statement said.
According to local authorities, no one was injured in the Russian attack.
The situation in the Mykolaiv district was also reported. On July 19, Russian forces twice attacked the Halytsynove community with Molniya-type drones.
Two residents in the village of Prybuzke were caught in the strikes.
"Two men aged 43 and 55 were injured. They were hospitalized. As of the morning, their condition was moderate and stable. A car was also damaged," local authorities reported.
Russia intensifies attacks on Ukrainian gas stations
On July 17, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry issued an important warning to Ukrainians.
The intelligence agency learned that the command of the Russian army had ordered its forces to intensify drone strikes on civilian infrastructure and vehicles in frontline areas and along Ukraine's border.
The new strikes will target gas stations, trucks, buses, and passenger cars.
Authorities in the Zhytomyr region have banned gas stations from operating during air raid alerts.
Meanwhile, the WOG fuel station network has introduced a special operating mode across seven regions of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Russian owners have begun selling off their gas stations on a large scale.
