Russia strikes market in Ukraine's Sumy region: 10 people injured

On August 7, Russians attacked a market in the Sumy region, resulting in numerous casualties among the region's civilians, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Another cynical Russian attack on civilians in the Sumy region. This morning, Russia attacked people at a market in the Bilopillia community with a drone," Hryhorov says.
According to him, 10 civilians are currently known to have been injured. In addition, 2 people are in severe condition.
"Medical personnel are providing the necessary assistance. The victims are being hospitalized," the head of the Regional State Administration clarifies.

On the night of August 7, Russians destroyed a post office in the Hlukhiv community.
"Russia attacked civilian infrastructure with a strike drone. The building sustained significant damage," Hryhorov reports.

He also clarifies that no civilians were injured.
Moreover, last night Russia carried out a combined attack on Sumy. To do so, the Russians used 2 guided aerial bombs and various types of drones.
"Two people were wounded. They were hospitalized, and medical personnel are providing the necessary care. Preliminary reports indicate that the victims' condition is not serious," the head of the Regional Military Administration notes.

According to him, this time Russia struck private residential buildings, non-residential premises, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.
