Russian missiles hit crowded area near Ukraine's Odesa, injuring 3

On the afternoon of August 4, Russia launched missiles at a suburb of Odesa, targeting civilians, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
"The enemy cynically struck a suburb of Odesa with missiles, hitting a crowded area near a market," Kiper's statement said.
According to him, damage to civilian infrastructure has already been confirmed.
The head of the regional administration also said that emergency services are currently working at the site of the Russian strike.
Information on the number of casualties and the consequences of the attack is still being clarified and will be announced later.
Kiper reported that three people were injured. He specified that they were men aged 42, 45, and 81.
"Doctors have preliminarily assessed their condition as moderate. They are receiving all necessary medical assistance," the statement said.

On the morning of August 4, Kiper reported that Russian forces had carried out an airstrike on civilian infrastructure in the southern part of the region.

"According to preliminary information, two people were injured. The fire that broke out was promptly extinguished by rescuers," the head of the regional administration added.
According to him, all relevant services immediately arrived at the site of the strike. The injured have already received all necessary assistance.

Earlier, Ukrainian air defenses repelled a new Russian attack during the night of August 4.
