Russia strikes market in Ukraine's Kharkiv with drone

The Russian army struck a market in one of Kharkiv’s districts with a drone on the afternoon of Monday, February 2, according to the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
According to Terekhov, at around 2:30 p.m. Kyiv time, an enemy drone struck the Slobidskyi district with a combat drone. It later became known that the attack hit a local market.
As of 2:40 p.m., at least one person was reported injured as a result of the Russian strike. Information on the extent of the damage is being clarified.
By 2:45 p.m., it was reported that the number of injured had risen to two. Several market stalls were also destroyed.
Russian strikes on Kharkiv and the region
On January 30, Russian forces struck with a ballistic missile at the warehouses of an American company in the Kharkiv region. According to rescuers, the missile hit a warehouse building of a civilian enterprise in the suburbs of Kharkiv, causing a large fire covering more than 5,000 square meters.
Earlier, on January 27, Russia attacked a passenger train on the Chop–Kharkiv–Barvinkove route in the Kharkiv region using a drone. The strike resulted in fatalities and also left people injured.
In addition, on January 26, due to the attack of critical infrastructure facilities in the region, several settlements, including Chuhuiv, were left without electricity. Two civilians were also injured during the attacks.
