Russia strikes hygiene products factory in Odesa region with missile, injuring several people

On Wednesday, July 1, Russia launched a missile strike on the hygiene products factory Snow Panda in Ukraine's Odesa region. The attack left several people injured, according to the company's press service and a post by the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region.
"As a result of the enemy's missile strike and the massive fire that followed, part of our production and warehouse facilities was completely destroyed. Unfortunately, some of our employees were injured and are currently receiving all necessary medical care," the company said.
The company noted that the site was its key logistics hub, from which products were shipped across Ukraine, including goods from other brands.

"We are now assessing the extent of the destruction and making urgent decisions to save the work of our lives," the company said.
Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper said the ballistic strike on the Odesa region killed two people and injured 15 others.
He added that 11 of the injured were hospitalized and are receiving the necessary medical treatment.
Earlier on Wednesday, Russian forces carried out a series of guided aerial bomb strikes on Kharkiv. The attack injured 26 people, while two deaths were confirmed in the city's Novobavarskyi district, including a 15-year-old boy.
In Kherson, a Russian drone struck a shuttle bus. A child was killed in the attack, while two employees of Ukraine's State Tax Service were injured.
