Russia strikes high-rise building in Ukraine's Odesa region: 58 evacuated, cars damaged

Russian troops attacked the Odesa region with strike drones, hitting a high-rise building at night, according to the Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.
"At night, Russia attacked the civilian population of the Odesa region with strike drones again. A Russian drone hit between the 18th and 19th floors of an apartment building without detonating,” Kiper says.
According to him, the Russian strike damaged the facade and windows of the building, as well as parked cars.
He also reports that 58 people, including 8 children, were evacuated from the high-rise building. No information about the casualties has been received yet, and the details are being clarified. All relevant services are working at the site, and the inspection and elimination of the consequences are ongoing.
Russian strikes on Odesa and region
Russian troops strike the Odesa region almost daily. Most often, they use strike drones for attacks, but they also use missiles and aerial bombs.
Yesterday, January 21, Russian drones once again attacked the Odesa region, causing fires. The Russian attack damaged residential and industrial infrastructure, and one person was injured.
Also, on January 20, a Russian drone targeted a multi-story residential building in Chornomorsk. The strike also damaged energy infrastructure facilities.
The day before, a Russian drone attacked an apartment building in Odesa. Two apartments, the facade of the building, windows, and privately owned cars parked nearby were damaged.
Russian strikes caused damage to residential buildings, as well as energy and gas supply facilities. At least one civilian resident is reported to have been injured.
