Russia launches night drone attack on Ukraine's Odesa region: High-rise and energy infrastructure damaged

Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with drones overnight. As a result of the strike, a high-rise residential building and critical infrastructure were damaged, according to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.
"Overnight, Russian terrorists once again attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. As a result of hostile actions, residential, energy, and gas infrastructure were damaged. Unfortunately, one person was injured," Kiper said.
According to him, a drone hit a high-rise residential building in the Odesa district. Two apartments, the building facade, windows, and privately owned vehicles parked nearby were damaged.

In addition, damage was recorded at a critical infrastructure facility. All relevant services are operating at the sites, and efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.

On the night of January 18, Russian forces attacked the southern part of the Odesa region with strike drones, damaging energy infrastructure. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and specialized services continue to work at the site.
In addition, on the night of January 17, Russian forces struck an energy facility in the Odesa region. A fire broke out, and damage was reported. According to the State Emergency Service, a building and vehicles were also damaged. The fire has now been extinguished. The State Emergency Service deployed 10 units of equipment and more than 30 rescuers.
