Russia strikes energy facilities in Ukraine's Chernihiv region: Over 26,000 residents left without electricity

Early Tuesday morning, September 30, the Russian army launched a massive strike on the town of Bobrovytsia in the Chernihiv region. Energy infrastructure was damaged, according to the Chernihiv regional energy company.
Russia damaged an energy infrastructure facility. Over 26,000 residents in Bobrovytsia and surrounding settlements are without power.
"Energy workers have already begun restoration work, but it will be carried out taking into account the security situation," the company says.
They also reminded of the need for information silence and advised to avoid approaching energy infrastructure facilities during the alert.
Ukrainian Railways warned in the morning about changes in train traffic in the Chernihiv region. In particular, a number of trains from Kyiv to Nizhyn were either canceled or running with significant delays.

On the evening of Monday, September 29, the Russian army launched several groups of Shahed-type strike drones. This time, the drones were spotted in the north and center of Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian drones were also spotted in the Kyiv region, where the consequences of the Russian attack are already revealed.
