Russia launched Shahed drone strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight on July 11, causing destruction, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak reports.

According to Lysak, the enemy attacked several settlements:

  • Synelnykove district,
  • Nikopol,
  • Marhanets community.

"The aggressor hit the Pokrovska community in the Synelnykove district with drones. An agricultural enterprise was damaged. A fire broke out," the Head of the Regional Military Administration said.

Russians also attacked the Nikopol area, using FPV drones, heavy artillery, and Grad MLRS. There, as Lysak noted, an administrative building and a power line were damaged. A fire also broke out.

"Everywhere - no dead or injured. In the morning, air defense forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region shot down an enemy UAV," the Head of the Regional Military Administration added.

Drone attack on Ukraine on July 11

On the night of July 11, Russia launched drones at Ukraine. Kharkiv, particularly the city center, was hit hardest. The explosion affected a maternity hospital. At least nine people were injured.

Explosions also occurred in Chuhuiv, the Kharkiv region. As a result of the strike, a hospital building was damaged. Several people were injured. A total of seven impacts were recorded.

Explosions were also reported in Mykolaiv. A fire broke out in the city due to the attack by Shahed-type strike drones.

In Sumy, a series of explosions occurred during an air raid alert. Local authorities and the military urged residents to follow official updates and not to ignore air raid warnings.
