On the night of July 11, Russian forces launched a Shahed drone strike on Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. Several people were injured as a result of the attack, according to a statement from the city’s mayor, Halyna Minayeva.

"Around 1:00 AM Kyiv time, the Russian forces struck Chuhuiv again. In the central part of the city, two private homes were destroyed, and nearby buildings sustained significant damage," said Mayor Halyna Minayeva.

According to her, the building of the Chuhuiv Central Hospital was also heavily damaged.

"Three people were injured and are receiving medical care. In another district of the city, Shahed drones also hit residential areas, damaging private homes," she added.

In that second incident, Minayeva noted there were no casualties. Emergency services are working at the impact sites.

Notably, Chuhuiv was also targeted on July 9, when a massive fire broke out in a local summer housing area, injuring one person.
