Russia strikes critical infrastructure in Ukraine's Nizhyn: City left without electricity and water

In the morning, Russia struck critical infrastructure in the Nizhyn district with drones. As a result of the Russian strike, locals were left without electricity and partially without water, according to the Nizhyn City Council and the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
On the morning of September 3, Russian troops launched a drone strike on the Chernihiv region. Russian drones targeted civilian infrastructure.
Explosions were heard in the city of Nizhyn. Local authorities reported that air defense forces were working.
Despite the work of the Ukrainian air defense forces, a critical facility was hit. As a result, over 30,000 households in the Nizhyn district were left without electricity. Some parts of Nizhyn also have no water.
All necessary services are involved in eliminating the consequences of the Russian strike.
Russian combined strike on Ukraine
On the night of September 3, Russian troops launched missile and strike drone strikes on Lutsk, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
Russia launched 15 Shahed drones at Lviv. As a result of the Russian attack, one of the warehouses was partially destroyed. A fire broke out in the building, which rescuers managed to quickly extinguish.
Rescuers are working at the site of the Russian strike in the Khmelnytskyi region. The search for a person who may be under the rubble continues. The infrastructure was damaged as a result of the Russian strike: over 50 windows were broken in an educational institution, and over 100 in residential buildings.
As a result of a nighttime Russian drone attack on Znamianka in the Kirovohrad region, two residential buildings were destroyed and another 28 were damaged.
