Russia strikes civilian bus in Ukraine's Nikopol, multiple killed and injured reported

Early in the morning on April 7, Russians attacked a passenger bus in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. A drone carried out the strike during rush hour, as people were heading to work, according to Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"The Russians struck a passenger bus in Nikopol with an FPV drone. Two women and a man were killed. Another 12 people were wounded," Lukashuk reports.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Russian attack occurred in the morning during rush hour. Russia targeted a public transport vehicle carrying civilians.
"A brutal strike against civilian public transport. During rush hour, when people are on their way to work," the rescue service states.
Three people were killed in the attack, and 12 others were injured to varying degrees.
Rescue workers and medics were on the scene from the very first minutes. They managed to free and rescue at least 7 people.

As of 10:15 a.m. Kyiv time, the number of victims in Nikopol increased following the morning attack on a passenger bus. 15 people are currently known to have been injured, according to the local prosecutor’s office.
According to preliminary data, three people were killed at the scene. At the moment of the Russian attack, the victims were both on the bus and at the public transport stop.
Prosecutors and law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the Russian attack. They are documenting yet another war crime committed by Russia.
Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office, a criminal case has already been opened regarding the war crime (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
At 10:56 a.m., the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration reported that 16 people were known to have been injured in the Russian attack on a bus in Nikopol. Eight of them have been hospitalized.
Men aged 58, 63, and 73 are in critical condition. The rest of those hospitalized are in moderate condition. They have blast injuries, acoustic trauma, shrapnel wounds, and fractures.
Attacks on Nikopol
Nikopol, located on the banks of the Dnipro River, is under constant Russian attacks.
Russia strikes the city with drones, FPV drones, guided aerial bombs, and artillery.
For instance, Russians struck Nikopol twice the day before: first with FPV drones, and later with artillery fire. Seven residents were injured, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
On April 4, Russia also struck a local market. 5 people were killed, and several others were wounded, including a 14-year-old girl who was in critical condition.
Before that, Russians had attacked the city with a strike drone, injuring 11 people.
