Artillery shelling: Child injured

Later, the city came under artillery fire. Among the wounded was a girl just one and a half years old. She was hospitalized in moderate condition and transported to a medical facility in Dnipro.

Two men, aged 66 and 72, were also injured and will receive outpatient treatment.

Several private houses and apartment buildings were damaged in the shelling.

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, a day earlier, on April 4, Russian forces struck a market in Nikopol with FPV drones. Five people were killed, and another 22 were injured.

Meanwhile, alongside physical attacks, the enemy is also waging an information campaign against the city. In particular, Russian forces are distributing leaflets in Nikopol calling on residents to prepare for occupation and threatening a "crossing of the Dnipro River."

Local authorities have called this fake information aimed at intimidating residents.
