This is not the first case of a targeted Russian attack on Ukrainian medics. On the afternoon of August 19, Russia also attacked an emergency medical vehicle with a drone. 2 medics were injured as a result of the Russian strike.

There are areas in Kupiansk where the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and police officers no longer go due to the danger. It is practically impossible to move freely and calmly around the city due to the high density and activity of Russian FPV drones.

As a result of prolonged Russian attacks, 95% of the infrastructure in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, has been destroyed.
