Russia starts exercises involving intercontinental ballistic missiles

Russia has started military exercises involving missiles with nuclear warheads. The exercises include the use of Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles, according to RIA Novosti and the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the Strategic Missile Forces have begun exercises involving missiles with nuclear warheads. The drills include the use of Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).
According to the ministry, ICBM regiments in the Sverdlovsk region and Altai Krai "will be deployed to field positions."
It is worth noting that these are not the first military exercises of this kind in Russia.
In particular, in February, it was reported that Russia was conducting drills on the covert launch of Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles in the Volga region.
The Yars (RS-24) is a Russian strategic missile system equipped with a solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile. It was adopted in 2010. Range: up to 12,000 km. Warhead: a separable warhead with several nuclear warheads.
