Russia shifts tactics and launches massive daytime drone attacks on Ukraine

During the massive strike on Ukraine overnight on March 24, Russia expended up to 40% of its stockpiled munitions. Russian attack is ongoing, and further missile launches are possible, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Advisor Serhii Beskrestnov and the Ukrainian Air Force.
"Currently, in my opinion, Russia has used up to 40% of the munitions prepared for the attack. The attack on Ukraine continues. I assume that today we will see more missiles," he emphasizes.
According to Flash, the Russians are constantly changing their tactics of massive strikes—in this way, they are trying to find vulnerabilities and break through Ukraine’s air defense. He adds that Russia has now adopted a strategy of a protracted strike.
The Ukrainian Air Force reports that as of now, a large number of Russian kamikaze drones have been detected over Ukraine. Specifically, they are in the Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
Additionally, a high-speed target is reported to be heading toward Odesa.
Local Telegram channels are reporting explosions in Kyiv. Air defense systems are engaging Russian drones.
Russian strike on Ukraine on night of March 24
On the night of March 24, Russians launched a massive strike on Ukraine using drones and various types of missiles.
Ukrainian Air Force recorded 426 aerial attack vehicles. According to preliminary data, as of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense systems shot down or neutralized 390 Russian targets, 25 missiles, and 365 drones of various types.
In the Poltava region, Russia struck residential buildings, and a hotel. Two people are known to have been killed. Another 11 people were injured and received necessary medical care.
Russians also struck a high-rise building in Dnipro this morning, causing fires, and as of now, 9 people are known to have been injured. Among the victims is a one-and-a-half-year-old boy.
In addition, Russian troops used a strike drone to attack a commuter train traveling from Slatyne to Kharkiv. The strike resulted in one fatality and several injuries.
