Russia shells store in Ukraine's Kharkiv region with artillery, killing 5

Today, July 29, Russian troops shelled the village of Novoplatonivka in the Izium district of the Kharkiv region with artillery. Five civilians were killed and three more were wounded, according to the Kharkiv region police.
At around 10:38 a.m. Kyiv time, Russian troops launched a strike, presumably with a multiple launch rocket system, on the village of Novoplatonivka in the Borova territorial community. As a result of the Russian attack, a local store caught fire.
The area of the fire is currently being determined.
5 civilians were killed and 3 others were injured to varying degrees as a result of the Russian shelling.
An investigative team, bomb disposal experts, and forensic specialists were dispatched to the scene. Law enforcement officers are documenting the war crime and collecting evidence.
A criminal case has also been opened under Part 2 of Article 438 (war crimes).
Russian strikes on Kharkiv and region
Russians regularly shell Kharkiv and the region with various types of weapons.
On the night of July 26, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs, missiles, and drones. Russian strikes damaged high-rise buildings, a factory, roads, and the power grid.
On July 25, the Russians hit a medical facility in the Industrialnyi district of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. One person was killed and 17 others were wounded as a result of the Russian strike.
In the evening of the same day, Russians repeatedly attacked the center of Kharkiv, and hits were recorded.
