The Russian occupiers carried out a combined attack on Kharkiv on the night of July 20. Moreover, Russia struck rescuers, and there were casualties, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"This night, Russia struck Kharkiv again. Over 20 Russian strikes in almost 3 hours of the night - 4 guided bombs, 2 ballistic missiles, and then 15 Shaheds," the report says.

Terekhov specifies that as a result of the Russian strikes, residential high-rise buildings, a civilian enterprise, roads, and a contact network were damaged.

According to him, as of this morning, the liquidation of 7 fires in the Kyivskyi district is underway.

In addition, 5 people were injured due to the Russian attack, including 3 rescuers. As the mayor informed, they were injured during the second strike.

"They were injured during the second Russian strike. Russia is targeting those who are rescuing and eliminating the consequences of the Russian bombing. This is pure terrorism," Terekhov writes.

Summing up, he adds that from the first minutes, the city's municipal services were working at the sites of the Russian strikes. In particular, energy workers, heating workers, road workers, waterworks, the metro, lighting workers, green construction workers, and elevator workers.

Russian massive strikes on Ukraine

That night, the Russians carried out a massive combined attack at Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia, and Shostka.

In particular, there are reports of killed and injured in Dnipro and the region. In addition, a high-rise building and industrial enterprises were damaged. There were fires, including in the parking lot, as a result of which cars burned down.
