Russia bombs medical facility in Ukraine's Kharkiv: Details and aftermath

On July 25, Russia struck a medical facility in the Industrial district of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. As a result of the strike, there are killed and wounded.
The Russian attack became known at 11:28 a.m. Kyiv time. At the same time, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced that a Russian guided aerial bomb had hit. Later, it turned out that a Russian guided aerial bomb hit the building of a medical institution.
At about 11:36 a.m., it became known about the victim, but their number continued to grow.
As of 2:45 p.m., according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, it is known that 14 people were injured, including a 12-year-old girl who was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction as a result of the Russian strike, and one person was killed..
Russian strike destroyed the third floor and the ceiling of the building. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire in the insulation. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing.
9 houses and two cars were damaged by the Russian attack, but there was no fire.
Civilians may be under rubble
At 1:43 p.m., Terekhov said that at the scene of the Russian attack, it was not possible to establish contact with 3 people who should be in a medical facility.
"Experts do not rule out that they may be under the rubble. State Emergency Service of Ukraine fighters are working at the scene, a search and rescue operation is underway," the mayor said.
Pre-trial investigation launched
Meanwhile, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of committing a war crime - Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, Russians attacked Kharkiv with a UMPB-5 guided aerial bomb from a Su-34 aircraft from the settlement of Tomarivka in the Belgorod region of Russia.
Yesterday, Russia first used the UMPB-5 against Kharkiv, a new aviation bomb with a modified planning and correction module. At the same time, the prosecutor's office said that the Russians usually used the D-30. The new version:
- weighs 250 kilograms
- consists of thicker metal than the D-30
- causes more consequences.
