Russia shells Ukraine's Nikopol: One woman killed, five wounded

Today, on July 16, Russians conducted a targeted attack on Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, and killed a woman, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Russian morning artillery shelling in Nikopol killed one woman and injured 5 people.
Among the victims are two women who were rescued by rescuers.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the victims were given first aid and hospitalized.
Russian shelling also damaged civilian infrastructure and residential high-rise buildings. Local services are working to eliminate the consequences.
Russian shelling of Nikopol
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has been regularly attacking Ukraine with various types of missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, artillery, and guided aerial bombs. The frontline regions and settlements suffer the most from the shelling.
In early May, during the so-called truce on the frontline initiated by Russia's Vladimir Putin, Russians attacked the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in one casualty.
Nikopol itself, as well as Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove, and Marhanets communities, came under Russian fire.
In addition, on the night of June 2, the Russians conducted a targeted attack on a rescue unit in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.
When the medics arrived, Russia struck again.
