Russia's losses in Ukraine as of September 7: 1270 soldiers and 52 drones more
Over the past day, from September 6 to 7, the Russian forces have lost 1,270 soldiers, 52 drones, and 55 vehicles on the front, according to data from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat Russian from February 24, 2022, to September 7, 2024, is estimated to be:
- personnel - about 623 990 (+1270) troops;
- tanks - 8632 (+1) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs - 16 878 units;
- artillery systems - 17 774 (+29) units;
- MLRS - 1178 units;
- anti-aircraft defense systems - 942 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 368 units;
- helicopters - 328 units;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 14 784 (+52) units;
- cruise missiles - 2588 (+1) units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles & fuel tanks - 24 171 (+55) units;
- special equipment - 3037 units.
According to ISW, over the past day, the Russian army made advances near Toretsk, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces regained positions near Pokrovsk.
Last night, Russia launched another large-scale attack with Shahed drones against Ukraine. Air alerts were declared in most regions of the country.
In Kyiv, after 3:00 a.m., powerful explosions were heard. Air defense forces shot down all enemy drones launched at the capital.
Debris from the downed drones fell in several districts of the city, causing fires. There are no reported casualties or damage.
