During the last day on September 9, Ukrainian soldiers reportedly eliminated an additional 490 Russian terrorists. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 268,630 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 10, 2023, are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: Approximately 268,630 (+490) troops eliminated,
  • Tanks: 4,554 (+10),
  • APVs: 8,755 (+16),
  • Artillery systems: 5,811 (+22),
  • MLRS: 760 (+3),
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 509 (+1),
  • Aircraft: 315,
  • Helicopters: 316,
  • UAVs operational-tactical level: 4,593 (+5),
  • Cruise missiles: 1,455,
  • Ships/boats: 19,
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 8,338 (+40),
  • Special equipment: 872 (+2).

Situation on the front

According to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian troops have advanced in the Zaporizhzhia region and further south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.

In general, the military continues offensive operations on multiple fronts and has achieved success in the south of Klishchiivka. Meanwhile, one Russian military blogger claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had completely pushed occupiers out of Andriivka.
