Russian missile and drone attack

On the night of May 26, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones and cruise missiles. Air raid alarms were sounded in most regions of the country.

Closer to dawn, alarms were declared across all of Ukraine due to strikes by cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers.

In Kyiv, powerful explosions were repeatedly heard during the night as air defense forces engaged enemy drones.
