In the morning of May 26, explosions were heard in Kyiv. The city’s air defense is active amid an attack by enemy drones, reports the Kyiv City Military Administration Telegram channel.
“The threat from strike drones remains. Air defense forces are active in the capital. Stay in shelters and follow all safety rules until the all-clear,” the message said at 06:03.
Earlier, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that strike drones had been detected in various locations across the Kyiv region.

The air raid alert in Kyiv has been lifted.
Attack on Kyiv and Ukraine
For several hours, a large-scale air raid alert was declared across Ukraine. It was related to the enemy launching drones over Ukraine, as well as cruise missiles fired by Russian strategic bombers Tu-95MS.
We also reported that during the night, due to the Russian attack, air defense forces were active in the capital. Multiple explosions were heard repeatedly.
