Russia's losses in Ukraine as of May 25: +1,020 troops and +1,924 drones

Ukrainian forces dealt another blow to Russia's war machine over the past day, targeting enemy troops and military hardware along the front line. Moscow's army lost 1,020 manpower over the past 24 hours, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to May 25, 2026, are estimated to be:

Frontline situation
On the night of May 24, Russia carried out a massive combined strike on Ukraine using attack drones and missiles launched from air, sea, and land platforms. The main direction of the attack was Kyiv. A total of 690 airborne attack assets were detected by the Air Force's radar units — 90 missiles and 600 drones of various types.
The Security Service of Ukraine struck an important oil pumping station in Russia's Vladimir region, which supplies fuel to the Moscow area. As a result of a successful SBU drone attack, a large fire covering an area of 800 m² broke out at the facility.
