Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on a number of important Russian occupation facilities. The Tamanneftegaz oil terminal, supply warehouses, and enemy ships were hit, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the oil-loading berth of the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal (Veselovka, Krasnodar region, Russia) was hit. According to confirmed information, an oil-loading loading arm was damaged.
This terminal is one of Russia's key oil export facilities in the Black Sea region. Its capacity allows the transshipment of up to 20 million tons of oil and petroleum products per year. The facility is used to support the army of the aggressor state.
Also, ammunition storage facilities were hit in Mizhhirya (temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), as well as material-technical supply depots, ammunition warehouses, and fuel and lubricants storage facilities in the Bilolutsk district of Luhansk region.
In addition, drone command posts were destroyed in the areas of Borisivka (Belgorod region, Russia), Voskresenka (Donetsk region), and Tetkino (Kursk region, Russia).
A concentration of enemy manpower was also hit in the area of the settlement of Volfin (Kursk region, Russia).
In addition, on May 23, at the naval base in Novorossiysk (Krasnodar region, Russia), the patrol ship Pytlivy and a hovercraft missile boat were hit. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
Ukrainian strikes on Novorossiysk
As a reminder, after the Ukrainian strike on May 23, fires broke out at key Russian oil facilities in Novorossiysk that were used for military logistics.
One of the main targets was the Sheskharis oil terminal in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar region. The General Staff confirmed hits and a fire at the facility.
A storage tank complex Grushova was also hit in the Novorossiysk area, where a fire was recorded after the attack.
The General Staff noted that the oil depot is an important part of the Sheskharis complex and is used for storing and transporting oil and fuel.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a base area of Russia's "shadow fleet" in the Black Sea. A hit on the tanker CHRYSALIS was confirmed.
Two vessels of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were also hit — the frigate Admiral Essen and a Project 1239 surface-effect missile ship.
