Frontline situation
At least 7 Russian warplanes were destroyed or damaged in Ukraine's fresh drone strikes at Saky and Hvardiiske airbases in Crimea. This is already the second such attack this week alone.
In 2026, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces increased the number of strikes deep inside Russian operational and strategic territory by 1,150%.
Read an interview with Ukraine's general to find out how the Ukrainian military uses medium-range strike capabilities to target Russian logistics, command posts, and troop movement routes while Russian forces advance in small infantry groups, with more than 70% of strikes carried out by drones and up to 30% by artillery.
