In 2026, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces increased the number of strikes deep inside Russian operational and strategic territory by 1,150%. The drone forces also revealed the number of targets they attacked.
"Fact: Birds-2026 are bringing the painful special effects of war onto the occupier's territory — there is no longer a safe rear (for the enemy)," said Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi.
Last month, USF operators carried out 2,359 Deep Strike missions (500-2,000 km). In total, they successfully hit 172 military-industrial as well as fuel-and-energy facilities in Russia.
During 3,406 Middle Strike missions (150-300 km), Ukrainian troops struck 1,682 targets.
Another 2,747 Front Strike combat missions (25-150 km) resulted in 1,265 targets being hit or destroyed.
Another important area of operations is strikes against military facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea.
In June alone, USF units, in coordination with other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces, struck 172 military-industrial as well as fuel-and-energy facilities in Russia.
Among the targets hit were:
- Astrakhan gas processing plant;
- Ilsky, Afipsky, Novokuibyshevsk, Moscow, Slovyansk, and Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refineries (the latter was hit twice);
- Surovikinskaya, Petergofskaya, and Rossosh oil depots;
- Saint Petersburg and TES-Terminal-1 oil terminals;
- Grushovaya oil transshipment complex and Volodarskaya linear production dispatch station (LPDS);
- Port Kavkaz;
- Central Design Bureau of Apparatus Engineering JSC;
- Kaluga aerated concrete plant;
- Kronstadt naval base, the Russian Navy's basing point in Kronstadt, the Russian Navy's 15th Arsenal, and the Boykiy corvette;
- Dubna, Skolkovo, and Medvezhyi Ozera space communications centers.
We reported earlier that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked seven enemy aircraft in Crimea.
Moreover, the Unmanned Systems Forces successfully opened a corridor for strikes on Moscow.
Ukrainian drones also disabled Sevastopol's key power substation.
