Russia's latest strikes on Ukraine are serious war crimes – Merz

Russia's recent large-scale attacks on Ukraine are serious war crimes, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said at a joint press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, as reported by Tagesschau.
Merz noted that in recent days, Russia has been "deliberately and ruthlessly" attacking Ukrainian civilians using drones and cruise missiles.
According to the Chancellor, such strikes constitute "terror against the civilian population" and are "anything but a proportionate response" to Ukraine's Spiderweb operation, during which drones targeted Russian airfields.
Strikes on Ukraine
On June 6, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, firing 407 drones and 45 missiles of various types.
Strikes were recorded in 13 different locations, and falling debris caused additional damage.
Today, June 10, Russia carried out another large-scale attack, deploying over 300 drones and seven missiles. The main target was Kyiv. As a result, civilians were injured, and one person was killed.
