Overnight on May 4, a drone struck a building on Mosfilmovskaya Street in Moscow. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed the attack — there are no casualties. At the same time, drones were also spotted over Samara, according to OSINT channels and the Russian capital's mayor.

What happened in Moscow

An explosion occurred in the Mosfilmovskaya Street area. Russian Telegram channels published photos of the damaged building.

Emergency services are on the scene, and nearby streets have been closed off.

"According to preliminary information, a drone struck a building near Mosfilmovskaya Street. There are no casualties. Emergency services are working at the site," wrote Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to monitoring channels, Ukrainian drones manoeuvred over the city at extremely low altitudes. The attack took place five days before the planned May 9 parade on Red Square.

Samara is also under attack

Simultaneously with the strike in Moscow, a strike drone was spotted in the sky over Samara. Information on the aftermath is being clarified.

Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian missile ship Karakurt that was in the port of Prymorsk. That vessel is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, which the Russian forces regularly use to attack Ukrainian territory.

On May 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that two Russian oil tankers had been hit in the waters of the Novorossiysk port. Those ships had been involved in oil transportation.
