Russia receives machines for Lancet and Iskander missile factories from South Korea - Media

Machines made by the South Korean company DN Solutions were found at Russian enterprises that manufacture Lancet combat drones and Iskander missile launchers, The Korea Times reports, citing research by the Ukrainian Economic Security Council.
According to the news agency, equipment from the South Korean company worth over $19 million was delivered to Russia through Chinese distributors, including a company called Silver Technology.
"Available customs and procurement records indicate these were deliveries of new equipment, made under contracts dated 2023 and 2024," said Vladyslav Vlasiuk, the Ukrainian President’s sanctions advisor.
At the same time, DN Solutions denies supplying any equipment to Russia after the start of the full-scale war. The company emphasizes that it strictly complies with the laws of the Republic of Korea, which prohibit the export of strategic goods without authorization.
DN Solutions also stated that it ceased cooperation with the Chinese companies involved as soon as it became aware of the re-export of its products to Russia.
"We have informed dealers and agencies that selling our equipment to Russia and circumvention of export controls are strictly prohibited. We have also notified them that any violation of this policy is not just a breach of contract but also subject to strict sanctions by authorities," a company representative said.

In addition, in the fall of last year, North Korea sent troops who were later deployed to Russia’s Kursk region. They are actively participating in combat operations against Ukraine.
According to the latest intelligence from South Korea, North Korea has already lost 4,700 soldiers in the war against Ukraine.
Recently, Russia publicly acknowledged for the first time that North Korean soldiers are fighting in the Kursk region. North Korea itself has also confirmed the involvement of its troops in the war.
