Russia produces weapons in excess of needs for warfare - German Defense Minister
Russia is now producing more weapons than necessary for waging war against Ukraine. Moscow is stockpiling its arsenal, according to the German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
The Minister of Defense stated that with the increase in spending on armaments and the militarization of the Russian economy, a significant portion of what is produced is no longer going to the front lines but is ending up in warehouses.
At the same time, Pistorius warned against further military ambitions of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. In his opinion, Putin may have plans for further escalations.
"You can be naive and say he's only doing this out of caution. As a skeptical person, I would say in this case he's doing it because he has plans or something could be," said the German Defense Minister.
Probability of war between Russia and NATO
Previously, Estonian intelligence reported that Russia is already preparing for the next war. Presumably, this will be a conflict with NATO over the next 10 years.
Several NATO countries reject such a possibility. For instance, the President of Finland recently said that he considers a Russian attack on his country, which is now a member of the Alliance, to be unlikely.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted the possibility of war between Russia and NATO. In his opinion, Moscow could attack the Baltic countries if Ukraine does not hold out in the war.
