Zelenskyy arrives in Brussels for Coalition of the Willing meeting

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Brussels on Sunday, August 17. He will meet with the head of the European Commission and take part in a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, according to the press secretary of the president, Serhii Nykyforov.
As noted, the head of state will hold a bilateral meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. It is expected that following the meeting, they will come out to the media.
After this, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ursula von der Leyen will take part in an online meeting of the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing.
Zelenskyy and Trump meeting
On Monday, August 18, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with the President of the United States Donald Trump. The American leader invited the President of Ukraine to the White House after he met with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
Zelenskyy will be accompanied to Washington by European leaders – the Chancellor of Germany, the Presidents of France and Finland, the Prime Ministers of Britain and Italy, the head of the European Commission, the NATO Secretary General.
As noted by the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, at the meeting in the White House, the leaders will discuss peace efforts, security guarantees, territorial issues, and further support for Ukraine.
