US President Donald Trump's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner may soon travel to Russia again, according to TASS.
Russian sources say the Trump team could visit Moscow within the next two weeks. The exact date has not been disclosed.
"There is indeed such a possibility. The details will be agreed upon," one source said, commenting on the possibility of another visit in the near future.
The first reports of plans of Witkoff and Kushner to visit Russia again emerged after a phone call between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On October 9, the US president and the Kremlin chief agreed to ease anti-Russian sanctions. Trump ordered the US Treasury Department to issue a temporary license allowing Russia to begin supplying one million tons of diesel fuel.
Witkoff reveals details of latest US-Europe-Ukraine talks
The previous day, representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the European Commission, Ukraine and NATO met in Miami.
According to Witkoff, the parties discussed ways to de-escalate tensions and the possibility of ending the war with Russia before winter.
The participants also focused on winter preparations, ensuring stable energy operations and uninterrupted grain exports.
They also discussed security guarantees and long-term agreements designed to prevent future wars against Ukraine and Europe. They also addressed Ukraine's postwar recovery, economic development, and future accession to the European Union.
As previously reported, Trump had publicly issued a new, cynical demand to Ukraine.
The media also reported on Estonia's retaliatory plan following the Russia-US deal.
