Eight Russian ships have been detected in the Black and Azov Seas. Some of them are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, according to the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the data on the presence of the enemy fleet in the seas is current as of the morning of June 12, at 6:50 a.m.

In particular, 1 enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, was detected in the Black Sea. The general volley is up to 4 missiles.

In the Azov Sea, seven enemy ships have been detected, 3 of which are cruise missile carriers and have a general volley of up to 24 missiles.

In addition, 2 enemy ships were spotted in the Mediterranean Sea. Both are cruise missile carriers, with a general volley of up to 12 missiles.

The Navy added that during the day, the following vessels passed the Kerch Strait in the interests of Russia:

  • To the Black Sea: 7 vessels, 4 of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait.
  • To the Azov Sea: 8 vessels, 1 of which came from the Bosphorus Strait.

"Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by turning off Automatic Identification Systems (AIS)," the military added.

On the morning of June 12, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles, particularly focusing on the capital. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, all enemy targets heading towards Kyiv were destroyed by air defense forces.

Previously, RBC-Ukraine reported that the United States would send another Patriot system to Ukraine. This step was approved by US President Joe Biden. The information about the transfer of the air defense system was confirmed by two American officials on the condition of anonymity.
