Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov has unveiled the Test in Ukraine platform, developed under the Brave1 defense-tech cluster. It will allow foreign companies to test their weapons systems in Ukraine, according to the website of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

The Test in Ukraine platform will allow foreign manufacturers of drones, ground robotics, electronic warfare systems, and AI-based solutions to officially test their products in Ukraine.

Companies will have the option to participate in the testing process themselves, allowing for real-time modifications, or to hand over their systems to the Brave1 team for independent testing.

Minister Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that Ukraine has already built the infrastructure for rapid defense tech development. He added that the country is ready to support partner-nation companies in "developing, testing, and improving technologies that work on the battlefield."

"This is an opportunity to gain experience that simply cannot be replicated in labs. Brave1 is your entry point for testing, joint development, and scaling the best solutions for Ukraine’s victory," Fedorov said.

Where weapons to be tested

According to the ministry, foreign companies will be able to test their technologies at a training ground with conditions as close to combat as possible. The testing will be conducted alongside units with real combat experience.

"This provides direct feedback from the military, allowing products to be quickly refined and adapted to the actual challenges of war," the Ministry of Digital Transformation said.

The ministry also noted that companies will be able to partner with Ukrainian manufacturers to scale up their developments and accelerate market entry.

"Ukraine is offering not just training grounds, but partnerships for building effective solutions," the ministry concluded.

Back in April, Deputy Defense Minister Valerii Churkin stated that Ukraine is offering partners the opportunity to test their defense products and build long-term cooperation through joint ventures.
