As a result of the massive Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia during the night of June 17, residential buildings were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

The head of the regional administration shared footage showing the aftermath of the Russian attack on the city, which captured the destruction.

"As a result of the attack on Zaporizhzhia, an apartment building and a dormitory were damaged. The blast wave shattered windows in over 50 apartments," Fedorov reported.

He added that Russians also damaged around 30 garages in a cooperative. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Combined attack on Ukraine on June 17

Russia launched overnight strikes on several Ukrainian cities, with Kyiv suffering the most devastating blow. In the capital, drone debris fell across multiple districts, causing destruction and fires.

According to the latest reports, two residential buildings were damaged in the Solomianskyi district. A fire broke out in a five-story building. At least 18 people were injured, and one person was killed. Structural damage was also recorded at another multi-story residential building.

A dormitory of the Kyiv Aviation Institute (formerly National Aviation University) was also damaged. More on the night attack on Kyiv can be found in the RBC-Ukraine report.

Zaporizhzhia was hit with at least four powerful strikes, sparking fires and damaging industrial sites.

Odesa also came under a large-scale attack. The strike caused destruction, fires, and damage to civilian infrastructure. At least 13 people were injured, including a child.
