Within a week, Russia used nearly 900 guided aerial bombs and more than 300 Shahed drones against Ukraine. The occupiers also launched over 40 missiles, according to the Telegram channel of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"In just this one week, the Russian army used nearly 900 aerial bombs, more than 300 Shaheds, and over 40 missiles," he said.

According to the president, this Russian terror knows no pause, and it can only be stopped by the unity of the world — unity in support of Ukraine and unity in putting pressure on Russia over the war.

Reaction to the shelling of Zaporizhzhia

In addition, Zelenskyy responded to the shelling of Zaporizhzhia.

"The Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia today involved aerial bombs. Ordinary residential buildings were damaged, and an entire entrance section in one of them was destroyed. Municipal infrastructure and the railway were also damaged," he said.

According to the head of state, a total of 13 people were injured, and two were rescued from under the rubble.

"I thank all the emergency services that responded quickly and provided the necessary assistance to people. The clearing of the rubble is still ongoing," he added.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with 13 aerial bombs on the morning of September 29. It is currently known that 13 people were injured, and two were rescued from under the rubble. Additionally, on the morning of September 27, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region with ballistic missiles. The police administration building was targeted. Six people were injured, and four were killed.
