At about 7 a.m. it became known that the Russians were attacking Zaporizhzhia. Fires broke out at the sites of hits, a multi-story building and private houses were partially destroyed, and fires started.

“Preliminary, there are five wounded. All details are being clarified. The attack continues. Stay in safe places,” said Ivan Fedorov, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

He also noted that Russian troops had struck Zaporizhzhia more than 10 times, and that there may be people under the rubble.

At the moment, four people are known to be wounded in Zaporizhzhia, one person was rescued.

“Preliminarily, a woman may be under the rubble of an apartment building,” the State Emergency Service said.

According to the latest reports, one woman is under the rubble and six people are known to be injured, two of whom are hospitalized. In total, the Russian forces used more than 10 air bombs in Zaporizhzhia, and destruction was recorded in three districts.

“There are destructions in three districts of Zaporizhzhia - Shevchenkivskyi, Komunarskyi, and Oleksandrivskyi. So far, we know about one destroyed multi-story building and at least 15 private houses,” said Fedorov about the consequences of the attack.

The massive attack changed the movement of trains at Zaporizhzhia stations.

Woman was pulled out of the rubble, she is alive

After 9 a.m., a woman was rescued from the rubble in Zaporizhzhia.

“Rescuers pulled a woman out from under the rubble of a high-rise building and took her to the hospital. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance,” said Fedorov.

Two of the six wounded are men, the rest are women. Two are in the hospital - one is in serious condition, the other is in average condition. Four victims refused hospitalization.

The National Police of Ukraine clarified the number of bombs that the Russians dropped on Zaporizhzhia.

“According to preliminary information, the Russians hit the territory of the regional center 13 times (preliminary - with GABs),” law enforcement officers said.

11 wounded

As of 10 a.m., the number of wounded in Zaporizhzhia increased to 11 people.

“Preliminarily, 11 people were injured (2 men and 9 women), two of them were rescued (a man and a woman). The number of victims is being established,” the SES said.

13 wounded, including a teenager

Later, the number of wounded increased to 13.

“The number of people injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of massive enemy shelling has increased to 13, including a 17-year-old teenager,” rescuers said.

16 wounded, including two children

The number of wounded in Zaporizhzhia continues to rise.

“16 people who suffered from an enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia have already turned to doctors,” said the governor at about 1:30 p.m.

According to him, 9 women, 5 men, and two children - a 17-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl - were wounded as a result of the shelling.

“Two injured women remain in the hospital,” added Fedorov.

Station building damaged, train traffic disrupted

The strike also damaged the station building, which resulted in a change in train traffic.

“As a result of the shelling of Zaporizhzhia-1 station, the station building and windows in train No. 40 Zaporizhzhia-Solotvyno were damaged,” Ukrainian Railways said.

According to preliminary data, there were no injuries among passengers and railroad workers. However, trains No. 37 Kyiv - Zaporizhzhia-1 and No. 85 Lviv - Zaporizhzhia-1,2 will be received at Zaporizhzhia-2 station, and train No. 128 Zaporizhzhia-1 - Lviv will be departed from Zaporizhzhia-2 station.

Transfer buses will be running from Zaporizhzhia-1 station to Zaporizhzhia-2 station, and trains will be waiting for passengers to board.
