Russian precision strike on police department and people under rubble: Details and consequences
On September 27, Russian troops attacked the police department building in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, with a rocket. There were injured and 1 killed, and people are still being searched for under the rubble.

Russian ballistic threat and explosion in Kryvyi Rih
After 9 a.m., an alert was announced in Ukraine, particularly in Kyiv. The Ukrainian military warned of a ballistic threat not only to the capital but also to 12 regions, including Dnipro.
A short time later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported an explosion in Kryvyi Rih. Residents were asked not to leave their shelters until the alarm went off.

A few minutes later, Lysak clarified that Russia had launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. An administrative building came under fire. Later, the National Police of Ukraine said that Russian troops had hit the building of the local police department.
“At about 9:15 a.m., Russia launched a missile attack on the district police department, and it is known that there are victims as a result of the hit. There may be people under the rubble,” the statement says.
In addition to the police building, nearby houses were also damaged. According to the head of the city's Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, the police building was hit directly.

5 injured and 4 people under rubble
Initially, rescuers reported 3 injuries due to the Russian shelling of Kryvyi Rih.
“As of 10:20 a.m., 3 people were injured. There are probably people under the rubble,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a statement, adding that the building of the Kryvyi Rih District Department of the National Police in the Dnipro region was partially destroyed.
Around 11 a.m. in Kryvyi Rih, the number of victims increased to 4. All 4 are men, 2 of whom are hospitalized.
“The fate of 4 people is still unknown. The search and rescue operation is ongoing,” says the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
Around 12:20 p.m., the number of victims in Kryvyi Rih increased to 5 people - 2 were hospitalized, 3 were not.
In addition to the police building, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, 23 private houses and 3 nine-story buildings, as well as an educational institution, were damaged, and more than 8 dozen cars, including eight official vehicles, were damaged.
1 killed and 6 wounded
After 1 p.m. in Kryvyi Rih, 6 injured and 1 killed woman were reported.
“Unfortunately, a killed person was found under the rubble. It was a woman. 3 people may still be under the rubble. The search and rescue operation continues. We hope for the best...” Vilkul writes.
In turn, the wounded are being provided with assistance.
“3 wounded men born in 1978, 1979 and 1986 were promptly taken to the city hospitals. All 3 are currently in moderate condition. 3 more injured men were treated on the spot,” he adds.
Russian night shelling of Ukraine
On the night of September 27, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. In particular, Izmail came under a Russian drone attack. 3 people were killed and 14 others, including three children, were injured.
In addition, the city of Dnipro came under a Russian missile attack. Here, the Russian shelling damaged an industrial facility and started a fire.
In total, Russia launched an Iskander missile, 2 Kh-22 missiles, and 32 drones at Ukraine. The Ukrainian air defense system shot down 24 Shaheds.
