Russia kills doctors and policemen in Odesa, number of casualties continues to grow
In Odesa, the number of wounded and killed continues to grow as a result of the Russian attack on the afternoon of November 18. So far, 39 people have been wounded and 10 more have been killed, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, and the National Police of Ukraine.
“There are 39 people injured, including 4 children aged 7, 10, and two 11 years old. The children are hospitalized in moderate condition,” Kiper says.
Also, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, 30 adults are in hospitals, 3 of them in extremely bad condition.
“Our doctors are doing everything possible and impossible to save everyone's life and health. Other victims were treated on the spot,” he says.
According to law enforcement officials, among the 39 wounded are 4 children and 14 law enforcement officers.

As for the casualties, 10 people were killed as a result of a Russian missile strike on the center of Odesa, including doctors, police officers, and ordinary civilians.
“At the moment, 10 people are known to have been killed - 7 police officers (investigators and a police escort officer), a medic, and 2 residents,” the National Police says.
Russian shelling of Odesa
On the afternoon of November 18, Russian troops fired on the center of Odesa. They targeted civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings.
Almost immediately, it became known that there were deaths and injuries as a result of the missile attack. Later, 8 killed and 18 wounded were reported. Before that, an explosion was reported in Odesa, and the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of ballistic missiles in the direction of the city.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already responded to the Russian strike on Odesa. According to him, Russian attacks on Odesa are indicative of the fact that they once again confirm that Russia is only interested in continuing the war.
Russian invaders have been shelling the city for the second day in a row, including the attack on Odesa during a massive shelling of Ukraine's energy sector on November 17.
