Russian attacks on Odesa are demonstrative strikes. Russia is only interested in continuing the war, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

A ballistic missile hit a parking lot in Odesa. Apartment buildings, a university, and an administrative building were damaged.

Eight people were killed and nearly two dozen wounded in the shelling.

All emergency services are working at the scene.

These are not random strikes - they are demonstrative strikes. After calls and meetings with Putin (Vladimir Putin, Russian president - ed.), after all the false gossip in the media about the alleged 'refraining' from strikes. Russia is showing what it is really interested in: only war. And this signal is worth hearing in all parts of the world, from the halls where the G20 members meet to all the capitals of the world,” the president added.

Shelling of Odesa

Russian troops are shelling Odesa for the second day in a row. Only yesterday, November 17, they launched a massive attack on Ukraine's energy sector. The shelling resulted in the most difficult situation with the electricity supply in Odesa. Two energy workers were also killed in the region during a rocket attack.

Today, November 18, Russians attacked residential buildings in Odesa. As of now, it is known about 18 injured Ukrainians.
