The number of casualties in the Kyiv region has increased as a result of a Russian night attack, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

2 people were killed in the Russian night attack. 2 people also received shrapnel wounds.

In the Buchanskyi district, private residential buildings, one of which was destroyed, apartments in high-rise buildings, garages, and cars were damaged.

“Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian armed forces,” the Prosecutor General's Office writes.

Russian strike on Ukraine on February 26

On the night of February 26, Russians attacked Ukraine with 177 drones. The drones were launched from six directions, and aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack. As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, 110 Russian drones had been confirmed downed. In addition, 66 Russian imitator drones were lost without negative consequences.

During the Russian attack, it became known about a victim in the Kyiv region, whose body was unblocked by rescuers while extinguishing a fire in a house.
