'Russia doesn't exist': Ukraine's Intelligence 'congratulates' country on Constitution Day
Cyber specialists from Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (GUR) decided to "greet" the Russians on Russia's Constitution Day. They carried out a successful operation, gaining full control over the web servers of key Russian government portals, according to sources in the GUR.
The "greeting" from Ukraine's GUR targeted the official website of the State Duma of Russia, the Constitutional Court of Russia, and the web page of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court.
On the State Duma website, Ukrainian cyber specialists placed a banner with the message: "The country Russia does not exist."
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Court of Russia's website was completely blocked, and users saw only an error message when attempting to access the site.

The DDoS attack organized by the cyber specialists of Ukraine's GUR paralyzed the operation of these websites and disabled their servers.
This became another blow to Russia's digital infrastructure, as confirmed by even Russian propaganda media. In their official reports, they blamed the cyberattack on an "organized group of hackers," who "disabled the servers of the websites and compromised important databases."
Cyberattacks on Russia
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the cyber specialists of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence have regularly carried out cyberattacks on Russia.
The goal of these operations is to disrupt the operation of critical infrastructure, expose secret information, and weaken the military capabilities of the enemy.
Earlier, we reported that the intelligence's cyber specialists successfully attacked Russia's MTS Bank.
In addition, in September 2024, Rosselkhozbank"and JSC Moscow Credit Bank were targeted by a hacker attack.
Recently, the GUR also carried out a cyberattack on the systems of Gazprombank. Details can be found in the RBC-Ukraine material.
