Users in Russia are reporting that they are unable to use the bank's mobile app, make transfers, withdraw cash from accounts/cards, deposit accounts, or pay for services.
Additionally, MTS Bank's MTS-Business online banking is also down, affecting the business market and service provision/payments. There are also isolated cases of debiting funds from the accounts of the bank's clients.
The bank's support team denies any external attack and is deleting comments from dissatisfied users.
Cyberattacks by the intelligence
Earlier in November, sources told RBC-Ukraine that specialists of Ukrainian intelligence attacked Russian banks in Crimea, causing them to halt their operations.
In September, Rosselkhozbank and Moscow Credit Bank were also targeted in cyberattacks, which disrupted the functionality of their websites.
