Russia deploys Kalibr missile carriers to Black Sea: Possible salvo named
The Russian army has deployed one Kalibr cruise missile carrier in the Black Sea. Meanwhile, four Russian ships in the Mediterranean Sea are capable of launching up to 44 of these missiles simultaneously, reports the Ukrainian Navy.
According to the military, one enemy ship is in the Black Sea. It does not carry Kalibr cruise missiles for launch towards Ukraine.
There are no Russian ships in the Azov Sea.
Five enemy ships have been deployed in the Mediterranean, four of which are carrying Kalibr missiles. The potential total salvo of missiles is 44 of this type.
Over the past 24 hours, in the interests of Russia, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea: 10 ships, 6 of which continued toward the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov: 6 ships, 5 of which were coming from the Bosporus Strait.
In addition, according to the military, Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems.
Shelling with Kalibr missile
The Ukrainian Navy noted that Russia is deploying ships with Kalibr missiles to the Mediterranean Sea for the possible genocide of the Syrian people.
During a large-scale strike on November 28, Russia launched 28 Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea toward Ukraine, equipped with cluster munitions.
As a result of the attack, 12 hits were recorded, primarily targeting fuel and energy sector facilities.
