Russia deployed Kalibr carriers to Black Sea, posing threat of attacks with dozens of missiles
As of 6:00 AM on September 15, Russian forces have deployed 16 ships to the Black Sea, including 7 capable of launching Kalibr cruise missiles, according to the Ukrainian Navy.
According to military sources, the 7 enemy ships in the Black Sea are capable of launching a total of 48 Kalibr cruise missiles.
In the Sea of Azov, there are currently no enemy ships present.
In the Mediterranean Sea, 5 enemy ships are currently stationed, including 2 missile carriers capable of launching a total of 2 Kalibr missiles.
The Ukrainian Navy has also reported that over the past 24 hours, the following maritime traffic occurred in the interests of Russia:
- through the Kerch Strait to the Black Sea - 8 vessels, of which 6 continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
- through the Kerch Strait to the Sea of Azov -12 vessels, of which 4 were coming from the Bosporus Strait.
Additionally, on the morning of September 14, there were 7 ships in the Black Sea capable of launching a total of 48 Kalibr missiles.
During the night of September 13-14, Russia deployed four missile carriers to the Black Sea, including those equipped with Kalibr missiles.
Since the last major attack on Ukraine on September 26, when Kalibr missiles were used, enemy ships have been regularly stationed in the Black Sea.
