The Russian Ministry of Defense has developed a forecast for the evolution of the global military-political situation until 2045, which includes the elimination of Ukraine and its division into parts. Moscow may transmit this plan to the United States through diplomatic channels, according to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

According to sources from Interfax-Ukraine in the intelligence community, the plan, which involves dividing Ukraine into three parts, may be communicated to the new US administration through governments and representatives of foreign states.

How Russia’s plan looks

The first part, according to the Russian plan, involves the so-called new regions of Russia. This refers to the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions, and Crimea with Sevastopol, which are to officially become part of the Russian Federation. This is the focus of Moscow today.

The second part, according to agency sources, is the pro-Russian state formation. This concerns the creation of a "state" with pro-Russian authorities in the territories of the city of Kyiv, the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Zhytomyr regions.

This "state formation" will reject European and Euro-Atlantic integration and will agree to a Russian military presence, following the example of Transnistria, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia.

The third part involves the disputed territories in western Ukraine. These are the Volhynia, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia regions, which the Kremlin plans to divide with neighboring Hungary, Poland, and Romania.

Russia's forecast for 2045

As the agency notes, Russia has outlined four main scenarios for the development of international processes in its forecast. In particular, the Kremlin has identified two unfavorable scenarios for itself: The dominance of the USA and the West and China gaining the status of the world’s leading power. These could arise in the event of Russia’s defeat or a frozen conflict with Ukraine.

The favorable scenarios for Moscow are the Formation of a multipolar world and division of spheres of influence by leading actors and Regionalization/chaotization. These scenarios predict Russia’s victory in the war with Ukraine.

In November, the US held presidential elections, where Republican Donald Trump won, promising to quickly end Russia's war against Ukraine. To date, Trump has not presented any official plan for ending the war; there have only been rumors and statements from his entourage, which were not in Ukraine’s favor.

On Wednesday, November 20, the Western agency Reuters, citing sources in the Kremlin, reported the alleged readiness of Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss with Trump the end of the war in Ukraine, but on strict conditions.
